Hospital Innovations is proud to announce that they are the UK distributor for b.Bone by GreenBone®, a bone graft substitute designed to support natural bone healing by mimicking the structure and function of human bone.

Inspired by the morphology of rattan wood, b.Bone is created through a biomorphic transformation process that preserves the wood’s hierarchical structure. This biomimetic design enables the material to support effective cellular infiltration and vascularisation, key components in promoting the natural regeneration of bone tissue.

The material is the result of a novel multi-step process that transforms rattan wood into an inorganic, bone-like material while retaining its original microarchitecture. b.Bone is indicated for use in surgically created or traumatic bone defects in the extremities and pelvis. It can be combined with biological materials such as blood or bone marrow aspirate, and its granule form allows it to expand the volume of autologous bone grafts.
